My wife and I purchased a really nice King foam mattress from the American Mattress in Grand Junction, they said it would be delivered the following week on a Wednesday. Great so I change my work schedule so I can have the bed delivered.

On the morning they were going to deliver they called and said they only have half the bed, it was a mix up in shipping. Things happen but they seriously wanted to deliver half a bed and take our old one away. No idea what we would be sleeping on til the other half was shipped. So we decided to get a head board and said it was shipped from a different location and take about 2/3 weeks.

Fine with that. So after 4 weeks we don't hear anything on the head board and I called. They said it was ordered two days after we purchased it and should be here within the week. So anther two weeks go by and again I call them and they advised it should be just another week.

So finally receive a call almost two months after we ordered it to deliver it. And of course needed to work around their schedule so I can have something delivered. Felt honored that they could fit me in when for as long as I had to wait for it. They came and of course didn't have the brackets that should have been come with the headboard then after the came back and installed the head board, they quickly left our home.

Went in to make the bed and noticed oil stains on the bedspread. They had bought in a metal tool kit and was nice enough to put it on our bed spread. I can deal with the bed being delayed and me missing work cause they have poor communication from their Denver warehouse, but to lie and said the headboard was ordered when it wasn't and have me call to check on it so I can figure out when I want it delivered is horrible. Then have them put oil stains on our bedspread.

When I called up to complain they said they don't use oil to install head boards, your right but they bought in a metal tool kit. I wasn't looking for a free bedspread since I am sure people have lied about damage to receive free stuff. My wife cleaned it twice and still have the stains on it. After talking with the manager for a while he really didn't care and only wanted to end the conversation as quickly as he could just to get me off the phone.

I will never buy anything ever again from them and mostly scare away anyone even remotely thinking of purchasing anything from them...ever!

Horrible customer service with bad business practices.

Monetary Loss: $100.

This is really odd to hear especially about this company... My wife and I have purchased multiple mattress from them over the past ten years and we have never dealt with a more professional company...

I think its funny that there are 3 other people that call *** on this... You must be a joy to deal with if this company couldn't make you happy.

I have personally seen them go above and beyond not only for my wife and I, but for many of our friends as well..... So I call BS as well

It's not the correct company, I Work for American Mattress โ„ข we are based primarily in Chicago -land Illinois, 16Indiana stores and maybe Onew Wisconsin Store THAT'S IT. so if your complaints are from any state other than the 3 I named -you have a different company complaint.

I'm sorry for your experience but please refrain from slanderincincorrectly aimed at my company.
